About the Author
Dwight Burkholder was born in Harrisonburg, Virginia, the seventh of eight children. He grew up on a small farm where he learned the value of hard work and the importance of family values. Married at the age of 20, Dwight worked for a residential builder where he learned the carpentry trade. An avid hunter, Dwight has hunted extensively throughout the United States and South Africa. Dwight and his wife, Linda, enjoy travel and have visited places such as Europe, Italy, Sicily, South Africa, Mexico, Australia, Fiji and Brazil. The Burkholders are active in their local church in Virginia. Dwight has three grown children and five grandchildren. Dwight's other hobbies include golf, music, and playing the fiddle.
